Document Checklist

The following documentation could be provided for a pre-approval or pre-qualification:

  • Your Social Security number
  • Date of Birth
  • 2 current consecutive pay stubs or, if self employed, your federal tax returns for the past two years. All pages and schedules.
  • 2 most recent years W-2 forms for all employment.
  • Business Tax Returns for the past two years and K1's (if applicable)
  • Bank statements for the most recent 2 months. Deposits that are not direct payroll deposits must be documented as to where the funds came from. All pages of the statements are required regardless of content.
  • Investment account statements for the most recent two months
  • Retirement account statements for the most recent two months
  • Credit card account information (required for pre-qualifcation only)
  • Auto loan account information (required for pre-qualification only)
  • Personal loan account information (required for pre-qualification only)
  • A copy of your photo identification; driver's license, passport, etc.
  • A copy of your Permanent Resident Alien ID card (non US Citizen only)
  • A copy of your divorce decree (if applicable)

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage account information; mortgage statement.
  • Home insurance policy information
  • Home equity Line of Credit / Second Mortgage account information (if applicable)
  • A copy of your current mortgage note; FHA Streamline refinance or HARP only
  • A copy of your second mortgage note / Home Equity Line of Credit Agreement (if applicable); FHA Streamline refinance or HARP only
